24 FINALE

So much TV is coming to an end. The last two hours of 24 are on tonight. I am quite sure Jack Bauer gets through alive, but you never know. My hopes are that it sets up the 24 movie well, and that Jack and Chloe are both alive at the end. Also, will there be a silent count? There are silent counts at the end of pretty much every season, if I remember correctly. Just enjoy it tonight. And don't forget to DVR How I Met Your Mother!

  1. Yep, we watched 24 and DVR'd HIMYM and Big Bang Theory (great show if you've never watched it). Great bittersweet ending. It was good to see Pres. Taylor finally pull herself from the edge of the abyss and help Jack to get away (although he had 2-3 bullet wounds, a knife wound, umpteen cuts and bruises from the day's events and he'll never be able to see his family again). A good set up to the rumored feature film. Aunt Judy LOVES Jack Bauer and prays that Kiefer Sutherland can stay away from the booze and straighten out his life. She would get always get so revved up watching 24 that it would take 1-2 hours for her to calm down enough to sleep (thank goodness for DVR'd CBS comedies to change the mood).
Help me with something with the finale. After ex-President Logan shot himself, did the medics say that he could survive but with some possible brain damage? We could see him again in the movie. A good scumy, Nixonian villian.

In case you haven't seen it, Iron Man II is pretty good. Love AC/DC in the soundtrack. After the closing credits, there is bonus footage so DON"T leave the theater right away! Plus there is a reference to another hero in the middle of film. See if you can spot it.

  2. Yeah, I think we could see Logan again, but he would have to die in the movie.

Billy and I saw Iron Man II opening day. Loved the references to Cpt. America and Thor. I know some people will say that this sequel w wasn't that great, but it sets up Iron Man III, Cpt. America, Thor and the Avengers movie pretty well.
