And You Thought He Was Good When He Was Injured...
Tiger came back today at the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship. Essentially, it is March Madness for golf, and Tiger is the #1 overall player. After missing the last 8 months due to knee surgery, Mr. Woods didn't miss a beat. Rust? Ha! Tiger has no time for rust. He dispensed of an obviously-nervous Brendan Jones, the #64 player in the world, 3 and 2. The Aussie equivalent of a NCAA 16 seed (let's say SWAC team Alabama A&M, shall we?) never stood a chance. Tiger will now face Tim Clark, who beat Retief Goosen 3 and 2. Good luck Mr. Clark. It looks like you are going to need it.
