With his future and his freedom in doubt, The New York Giants have cut WR Plaxico Burress. This brings an end to a successful yet drama filled relationship. The G-men did win the 2007-2008 Super Bowl, with Burress catching the winning touchdown pass. He also showed how valuable he was by his absence last year, when the Giants were bounced out of the playoffs in their first game. The Giants are now left with a serious hole at receiver, so look for them to address that need in the draft.
