No Trade
Thankfully, Washington Wizards GM Ernie Grunfeld said that the team has no intention of trading the #1 pick away. Thank God. Now we just have to make sure that we actually end up taking Wall. I think he would fit better than Evan Turner, and we need that dynamic point guard more than a great combo guard. I can't wait to draft Wall, and am actually considering getting a Wizards jersey for the first time since... well, ever. WOO!

Arenas has been a pain in the ass with the gun incident that tanked your season. Would Grunfeld trade him to the Nets for pick 27 or 44 just to get rid of him?
ReplyDeleteI don't know if the Nets would take him, but if it is for the #27 pick, I would do it in a heartbeat. It would give us enough money for 2 max contracts then. We could get Amare Stoudamire and Joe Johnson, or two players like that.
ReplyDeleteHearing that, I say keep your headache and we'll try for Stoudamire. He had a big game last night against the Lakers and he some good things to say about the Nets organization. Here's hoping!
