Hello to all 8 of my followers (rock on Ryan Hamill for pushing me closer to double digits). I am working on my full NFL Preview, complete with my predictions for all 32 teams. Just some NFC advance warnings, cause that is what I have finished, I think the Eagles will drop off, the Packers will own the NFC, and that Rams fans should start scouting for the #1 pick (AJ Green, WR, Georgia might be a good one to look at). I should have it all done within the next day or two, so keep your eyes peeled.
Any thoughts on tonight's Hall of Fame Game, or the 2010 Hall of Fame Class/Enshrinement?

Anyone (outside of a rabid Cowboy or Bengal fan)who would watch the Hall of Fame game really has nothing better to do. The frequent substitutions in the first pre-season game looks like a chinese fire drill. Or maybe it's just that I would just pray for a key Cowboy to get hurt for the season.
ReplyDeleteIt was a movie weekend for me. Finally got to see 'Toy Story 3' (So great on so many levels. Didn't need to see it on 3D. Great on it's own). 'Inception' was very entertaining but I (like a lot of people I know) would need to see it again to take in all of the content. Was the ending a dream or not?
Before seeing the film, I read some blogs that said the screenwriter got the idea for the script from an old Scrooge McDuck comic book. I read the comic online and there were a lot of key similarities!
'Dinner for Schmucks' was just so-so.
Jim, I know that you sometimes watch Adult Swim on the Cartoon Network. Have you ever seen 'Super Jail' from 2008? Filled with nightmare images of great animation, it's so sick that it's hilarious.
It is football, and I had nothing better to do. The best of both worlds.
ReplyDeleteInception was fantastic in my opinion. I got everything, and would still see it again because it was so good. Saw Despicable Me on Friday, which was also excellent. Very funny with a bunch of heartwarming moments. I think they could make a fortune selling stuffed minions.
I did not watch Super Jail. On Adult Swim, I usually limit myself to Family Guy reruns, Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Robot Chicken. I watched 12oz. Mouse the first 5 or 6 episodes, but then it just got too weird.
So nearly all of 'Inception' was a just a dream in DeCaprio's mind,,,, the entire plot set up and all of the dream layers (when he woke up on the plane near the end of the film, he was wearing different clothes than when he went to sleep)? He wanted to see his kids, the main drive to his dream.
ReplyDeleteRobot Chicken is great (the Jesus sitcom DID go a little too far). Never ever got Aqua Teen Hunger Force, though.
The Mets are done. They've been done for a month. Errors, lousy hitting with runners on and ownership doesn't care about the fans. They'll be playing kids now to see what they have. Payroll will be lower next year. Nats are becoming a better team.
