2021 NFL Mock Draft: Round 2

Round 2 of the Mock sees a run on offensive linemen, a bunch of running backs, and our first Orangeman off the board.  Enjoy!

Round 2

33) Jacksonville Jaguars- Liam Eichenberg, OT, Notre Dame

You draft a new franchise QB, you have to protect him.

34) New York Jets- Elijah Molden, CB/S, Washington

35) Atlanta Falcons- Ronnie Perkins, DE, Oklahoma

36) Miami Dolphins (from Houston Texans)- Jalen Mayfield, OT, Michigan

37) Philadelphia Eagles- Jamin Davis, ILB, Kentucky

I have seen David everywhere from mid-first round to the 5th.  I have no idea how.  I think he belongs right here.

38) Cincinnati Bengals- Elijah Moore, WR, Ole Miss

39) Carolina Panthers- Asante Samuel Jr., CB, Florida State

Man, am I old.  I remember Asante Sr. getting drafted.

40) Denver Broncos- Samuel Cosmi, OT/G, Texas

41) Detroit Lions- Nick Bolton, ILB, Missouri

42) New York Giants- Alex Leatherwood, OT/G, Alabama

43) San Francisco 49ers- Kelvin Joseph, CB, Kentucky

44) Dallas Cowboys- Joe Tryon, DE, Washington

45) Jacksonville Jaguars (from Minnesota Vikings)- Pat Freiermuth, TE, Penn State

46) New England Patriots- Carlos Basham Jr., DE, Wake Forest

47) Los Angeles Chargers- Tutu Atwell, WR, Louisville

48) Las Vegas Raiders- Rashod Bateman, WR, Minnesota

49) Arizona Cardinals- Javonte Williams, RB, North Carolina

50) Miami Dolphins- Jayson Oweh, DE, Penn State

51) Washington Football Team- Richie Grant, FS, UCF

The WFT desperately needs a true free safety, and Grant may be the best of the bunch.

52) Chicago Bears- Ifeatu Melifonwu, CB, Syracuse

CUSE!  I don't know how our dismal program produces good players, but Iffy is a damn good CB, and the first of 3 DBs likely to be drafted from the Orange.

53) Tennessee Titans- Tyson Campbell, CB, Georgia

54) Indianapolis Colts- Walker Little, OT, Stanford

55) Pittsburgh Steelers- Creed Humphrey, C/G, Oklahoma

56) Seattle Seahawks- Quinn Meinerz, G, Wisconsin-Whitewater

57) Los Angeles Rams- Chazz Surratt, ILB, North Carolina

58) Kansas City Chiefs (from Baltimore Ravens)- Joseph Ossai, DE, Texas

59) Cleveland Browns- Jabril Cox, LB, LSU

Cox could go higher, especially if WFT prioritizes a needed LB upgrade over safety.

60) New Orleans Saints- Patrick Jones, DE, Pitt

61) Buffalo Bills- Eric Stokes, CB, Georgia

62) Green Bay Packers- Tylan Wallace, WR, Oklahoma State

63) Kansas City Chiefs- Dillon Radunz, OT, ND State

Patrick Mahomes will drop to his knees and weep with thanks that the Chiefs are bringing him more protection.

64) Tampa Bay Buccaneers- James Hudson III, OT, Cincinnati
