2019 NFL Mock Draft: Round 5

Round 5.  Players drafted in Round 5 since 2000?  Richard Sherman.  Kam Chancellor.  Tyreek Hill. Robert Mathis. Jordan Howard.  That is some of the best.  There are still fantastic players to be had in Round 5.

7 (145). Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Mike Edwards, S, Kentucky

9 (147). Buffalo Bills: Felton Davis III, WR, Michigan State

The Dolphins finally take a QB. Thorson could develop, but I imagine he will be the backup for the eventual next QB taken in the 2020 draft.

KICKER!  I mean, think about all of the games the Bears lost because of hitting uprights.  Kicker is the #1 need for the Bears. I just don't think they pull the trigger until Round 5.

Matt Ryan's current backup is still Matt Schaub.  It may be time to bring in a young project instead.  He is raw, and his comp is Ryan Mallet, who used to back up Matt Ryan.  It seems perfect.
